At one point in every day, one of our guests will come into contact with one of us, the Cunard employee, and at that moment in time we will be Cunard Line. Our entire reputation as a company will be in our hands and we will make a lasting impression. The impression will either be good or it will be bad, and we will have spoken to our guests more loudly than all of our community involvement, advertising and public relations put together.
By witnessing the service inspired by this statement on six separate sailings my wife Jane and I are appreciative of being shown every respect by Cunard's staff. In addition those we came in touch with either daily or only once, displayed a friendliness that cruising this way promotes a classless plural microcosm so missing in a modern society where right wing governments are only seeking to endorse a life of selfish greed. This may seem hypocritical when describing a holiday in extreme luxury, but most passengers know this a transitory illusional world where we are Jack and Rose, but the bow of the ship is out of bounds. Nothing wrong with wanting to be king of the world, is there?
